Our story began in 2008 on the campus of Alabama State University. We first met at an intramural football game, instantly connecting and forming a friendship.

As life unfolded, we went our separate ways, losing touch more times than we can count. But fate had other plans. In 2017, during ASU’s first Labor Day Classic, we reconnected. It felt as though no time had passed, and we effortlessly fell back into the rhythm of our friendship only now, it was clear that it had blossomed into something much more.

Our first date was at BB King’s in Montgomery, a night filled with live music, great food, and endless conversation. It was the kind of evening where time seemed to stop. By the end of the night, we both knew this wasn’t just any connection it was the beginning of something truly special.

Anthony’s proposal came on November 28, 2024, at the 100th Annual Turkey Day Classic. Surrounded by friends, family, and the vibrant energy of Alabama State, the moment was unforgettable. As we took this big step in front of our loved ones, it felt like everything had come full circle.

We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our journey with all of you who have supported us along the way. We can’t wait to share our special day with each of you and create even more memories to cherish forever.
